Inside Ruto’s plan to rescue Jobless youths and offer Internships

Many people have always linked the Deputy President William Ruto with early 2022 politics. This linking is not just an imagination but it was through his various tours across different parts of the country with his tangatanga team.

But on Thursday DP Ruto issued a tough warning on those who use his name to propagate any 2022 propaganda.

But this time round the Deputy President is more focused on how to better the lives of many youths who live jobless and those who finish higher levels of learning but lack internships and attachment.

On Friday , The Deputy President held a meeting in his Karen Office with stakeholders tasked to ensure that youths get employments.

The idea of reducing unemployment was enshrined in Jubilee’s Manifesto and DP Ruto is trying to ensure that no stone is left un-turned.

They Discussed implementation of the Jubilee manifesto, especially on internship, apprenticeship and industrial attachment programme with Department of Post Training, Public Service, National Industrial Training Authority (NITA), National Employment Authority and Department of Youth.

The Deputy President insisted that the role out will be vital in shaping the youths competency and skills levels;

“The rollout of the programme will enable youths improve their skills development, competencies and employability, Karen office, Nairobi County.”

This is among the few strategies being put in place by the office of the President Uhuru Kenyatta in Conjunction with his Deputy William Ruto to ensure that the Big Four Agenda becomes a reality and also their legacy comes out clean.
