It has been six years sionce Ambassador Robert Godec was appointed and started serving as the Diplomatic representative of Kenya to the United States of America.
After serving for six years time has now come for him to say goodbye and leave office to venture into other missions. As he moves to the next chapter of his life, Kenya now prepares to welcome the new US Ambassador to Kenya Senator Kyle McCarter who is expected to take office in February.

McCarter is not new to Kenya as he has worked before witn an NGO Each1Feed1, a Christian ministry that gives care and education for orphans and widows based in Tharaka Nithi County.
He is also a speaks fluent swahili and hopes to continue with the good work that the government of Kenya is doing in the spirit of handshake.
