Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has called on NASA sister parties Odm, Ford Kenya and ANC to Support Wiper’s Julius Mawathe in the upcoming Embakasi South By Election.
Kalonzo said, just like Jubilee wont be fielding a candidate the handshake spirit should prevail .
Mawathe has been handed a direct ticket for the upcoming by-elections.
The seat fell vacant after the Supreme Court on December 21, 2018 nullified the election of Mawathe on grounds that he was not validly elected.
Last week, a section of Jubilee MPs also came out to endorse Mr. Mawathe.
The MPs; Moses Kuria (Gatundu South), Charles Njagua (Starehe), George Theuri (Embakasi West) and Simon Mbugua (East African Legislative Assembly) said they picked Mawathe as their party, Jubilee, is not fielding a candidate.
ODM has urged Wiper not to field a candidate in the spirit of their partnership in the National Super Alliance (NASA).
