The year 2018 was one of the most difficult year for the Maribe family after Citizen TV Jacque Maribe was linked to the brutal murder of Monica Kimani together with her then fiance Jowie Irungu
But 2019 is off to a great start after Jacque Maribe’s sister Cate welcomed her daughter Kelani. The girl’s name is of Hawaiian origin and means the “The heavens”. American singer Kehlani holds an alternative version of that name.
Cate shared the good news in a post which she captioned “My new year blessings…..#kelani…”
Cate rose to fame in 2018 due to her unrelenting support for her little sister. Sharing a photo of happier times with Jacque, she wrote “It is well… God never gives us more than we can handle……”
Cate also shared an encouraging quote which read; “You’re going to make it. You and your family will be just fine. Just stand and let me fight this battle – God.”
