Opposition leader Raila Odinga is one of the most popular public figures in Africa. The former Prime Minister has proven over time he is a people’s person despite his high standing in the society.
Raila, unlike most politicians does not look down or ignore common Wananchi whenever he bumps into them during his many tours locally and internationally.
Raila Odinga was recently in Tanzania where he had gone to witness a the Sportpesa challenge cup, that saw Kenyan teams meet for the finals on a Tanzanian ground. While in Tanzania, Baba mingled with politicians from the neighbouring country and common wananchi who were super excited to meet him.
Raila Odinga also got the opportunity to meet up and hang out with Tanzanian celebrities among them, rapper A.Y.
Baba meet up with A.Y at Hyatt Regency Dar es Salaam, The Kilimanjaro hotel while he was still in Tanzania. Just like everyone who met Baba, the rapper took to social media and publicised the meeting and revealing how much excited he was to have a great time with the politician.
Taking to his Instagram account on Sunday, January 27, the rapper shared a photo of himself hanging out with Baba, followed by the caption; ”Great moment with the Former Prime Minister of Kenya BABA Odinga Raila.”
