Regina who sold eggs, was assaulted while at her stand by the six men who posed as customers.

They tore her undergarments and sexually assaulted her in a shocking act of madness. Regina however survived the ordeal despite suffering serious injuries.

The accused persons were arrested, but denied the charges. Their case has been going on for four years.

The trial court ruled that the prosecution had presented enough evidence against the accused persons with all testimonies corroborating their guilt beyond doubt.

The judgment reads in part: “There is no doubt whatsoever in my mind that the accused persons indeed committed the offence as the evidence is conclusive and compelling enough to find a conviction.”

The magistrate then read out the sentence: “As such, I find the accused persons guilty of indecent act with an adult. I hereby convict the accused persons to five years jail term each.”
