Kenyan Female Artist Akothee has opened up about her earlier intention to help Veteran Boxer Conjestina Achieng.
Akothee during an interview on Mseto East Africa said that after Conjestina’s video went viral she tried to reach out to her and really wanted to give her support.
The Singer says that she was saddened by Conjestina’s state considering how vibrant she was and her contribution in the nation.
Akothee however amid her process of trying to reach out, she learnt that Governor Mike Sonko had already rescued her and taken her for treatment.
On this act, Akothee commended Nairobi Governor Sonko for his kindness and the philanthropic gesture he has done for his people.
She also urged him to continue doing the great job that he is currently doing in the Nairobi county.
The female boxer Conjestina Achieng has been responding well to treatment and she hinted on her wish to get back to her boxing career.
Conjestina says that even though her arm might still have an injury, she would not mind being a trainer.
She is still under treatment at Aden Rehabilitation Center.
Sonko also assured that he will continue to support her until she fully recovers from her ailment even as his administration puts in place plans to support local athletes to prosper in their areas of sports.
