Diana Marua shares her weight loss journey

Diana Marua, has joined the weight loss journey following in the footsteps of the likes of  Willis Raburu, Senator Jonhson Sakaja, Anerlisa Muigai, Elani’s Moureen Kunga, Miss Mandi, Jane Mukami and Yummy Mummy.

According to Diana, she has shed off a total of 27Kgs within the past 6 months, however she revealed the struggles she had to go through which she described as not easy.

She further went on to say that during her pregnancy period she was weighing 92Kgs but after giving birth and dedicating her days to the Gym and eating healthy she has dropped to 65Kgs.

“From 92Kgs when I was heavy, started working out 6 months after Heavy, on and off weny crazy last two months and overall weight loss 27Kgs. Today I’m a whooping 65Kgs,” wrote Ms Marua.

While sharing her daily routine she highlighted outlined five routines that work for her, hence the incredible weight loss within a period of 4 months.

“How I have lost 27Kgs in 4 months here is how I did it…

  1. I had a cheat day once a week (cravings will always be there, satisfy your soul on this one day).
  2. Cut out carbs completely –this was key for me
  3. Do Intermittent fasting at least thrice a week
  4. Eat healthy in portions (veggies, veggies, veggies, veggies and proteins)
  5. Train like there’s no tomorrow … give it your all. You probably won’t see results even in two month but keep going it will pay off” shared Diana.

Cutting down weight especially when you have a body that clings to fat is not an easy task. You have to sacrifice your favourite cheesy and fried foods to shunning our beloved fries and grueling hours at the gym for it to pay off.
