Preparatory and security measuers are currently under review after the United States government has presented the country with a security alert through their embassy in Nairobi.
A communication they gave indicates that according to a risk assessment, the exposure is countrywide.
“The US Embassy reminds the public of the continued need for sustained vigilance in public spaces such as shopping malls, hotels, and places of worship,” read the statement.

Urging Kenyans to be watchful, the Us warned Kenyans to take precaution and stay alertin locations frequently visited by tourists or foreigners.
For any assistance or help, the public has been asked to call the US Embassy using +254 (0) 20 363 6451 during office hours and +254 (0) 20 363 6170 after working hours.
