News that Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa has been expelled from the ODM Party have excited supporters beyond measure.
ODM’s National Executive Council on Thursday resolved to adopt a report by the party disciplinary committee which recommended the expulsion of Jumwa and her Msambweni counterpart Suleiman Dori over alleged gross misconduct.
The two leaders have been publicly campaigning for DP Ruto, in his bid to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022. The move did not go down well in party hierarchy.
The two MPs have been removed from the lucrative parliamentary House Committees with immediate effect. And it now seems that the decision has gone down well with party supporters.
Mwanamke akiwa mang’aa ,mrudishe kwao! Jumwa thought she has Ruto in her pocket. Let her n Dori meet us on the ballot.

The party is like a football game that every player must abide by the rules of the game.Let her resign and seek fresh mandate if she thinks she is popular.

On December 4, 2018 the ODM disciplinary committee recommended the expulsion of MPs Jumwa and Dori, as well as seven Members of County Assembly — six from Homa Bay and Immaculate Adhiambo of Busia County — who were accused of disobeying party decisions.
