Tanzanian Artist Hawa Said has revealed her first encounter with WCB boss Diamond Platnumz.
The Singer rose to fame after their hit song ‘Nitarejea’ and their story of the past has been full of rumours and speculations.
However she has narrated in detail of how she got to work with Diamond Platnumz.
Hawa says that she had always wished to be a top musician although the only song that people know her for is ‘Nitarejea’
When she met with Diamond, Hawa had never released any song but she was a background singer/ vocalist for several artists.
Hawa also mentioned that Diamond was moved by her voice leading on to them working on a song.
She added that she met Diamond for the first time in a studio session and she was very excited when Diamond suggested that they should both work on a project.
Hawa says that she was doing it from a point of passion but did not expect overwhelming reception.
Speaking on Wasafi Media, the Singer says that following the fame, many people wanted to be associated with her.
She regrets saying that some of the friendships ruined her dream to be a great artist.
Hawa says that Diamond during the Nitarejea video told her that he meant business and was ready to work with her but her lack of focus interfered with her growth in the industry.
Hawa also mentioned that when she look Diamond’s achievements in the Industry she feels the pain of wasting years on fake friendships.
The Singer had earlier hinted that she might want to get back in the music business so that she can inspire the lives of others.
