It is being reported on Monday by Sky Sports News that Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata will complete a loan move to Atletico Madrid in the coming hours.Morata joined Chelsea in the summer of 2017 from Real Madrid for a fee of around £58m.
The Spaniard had a decent start to life in the Premier League, netting six in his first six league games.
Since then, however, Morata’s form has been very poor with the striker only scoring five league goals this campaign.

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has even chosen, in recent weeks, to start Eden Hazard, a winger, up top instead of Morata.
As a result, Chelsea fans will likely be glad to see the back of Morata.
While Morata’s move to Spain is a loan deal, Madrid do have the option to buy Morata for a fee of around £48.5m.
Alvaro Morata to Atletico Madrid is done. Loan with option to buy, £48.5m option. Chelsea signed him for £58m plus add-ons to £70m, suffice to say he won’t have hit many of the objectives add-ons but a loss made on him. Door is opening for Higuain to join Chelsea. #CFC

This is less than Chelsea paid for him but if the Blues can get nearly £50m for an out of form striker they will be pleased.
