The 2-1 Manchester United win over Brighton made Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the only third manager to win six consecutive matches in charge of a team in the Premier League.
The other two are Carlos Ancelotti during his time in charge of Chelsea and the other manager with is Manchester City’s, Pep Guardiola. Solskajer though has recorded seven matches in charge with the seventh being a cup victory over Reading.
Chris Hughton, Brighton’s boss was not happy with how his team gifted Solskjaer the win that earned him the record saying his team conceded too easily.
“The biggest disappointment is the goals we conceded. I thought we very much gave them a game. We will need lots of that come to the end of the season but I thought there was a chance for us today. We needed a bit more quality in the final third and in general.” Hugon lamented.
