President Kenyatta has called upon Kenyan Artists to meet him in regard to the ongoing  Play Kenyan Music debate.

This meeting is also set to allow artists to raise their concerns and challenges.

Speaking during Bruce Odhiambo’s burial  ceremony yesterday, Kenyatta asked the state House event  boss, Big Ted to organize their meeting.

The President also says that incase this fails to happen, he is not the one to blame since he has already given his go ahead.

Female President of Artists Akothee today took to her social media platform to call upon artists not to miss out on this meeting including the upcoming artists.

The conversation will go a long way in the transformation of the music industry.

Seems like the Play Kenyan Music agenda was not all a waste of time after all.

Top artists have been singing this narrative on media platforms and this has landed them on a platform to speak about their concers.

They will also get the opportunity to raise suggestion of the possible solutions and the changes they want to see in the industry.
