Giggs confident that Manchester United United will play champions League

Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has backed the club to finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League once again.

The Red Devils are currently sixth on the log with 41 points and Giggs believes the club’s momentum is key. Since Mourinho’s axing, his successor Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has led the club to six consecutive wins, keeping a 100% record. The Wales boss believes his side will take advantage of Arsenal and Chelsea slip-ups as the two will be facing each other on Saturday 19th.

“I believe the top four is on for Manchester United. Momentum is key. When you get to this part of the season and have a bit of momentum it is hard to stop. Chelsea are at Arsenal on Saturday, and we fancy ourselves against Brighton, so we could get even closer to Chelsea,” said Giggs.

“If you look back a month ago it was not even on the table really so to turn it around in such a short space of time, with the games we have coming up, top four is definitely the target. Rather than looking over our shoulders we are looking up and it is great to see,” he added.
