Member of Kenyans talented duo band Amos and Josh has released his first single after the two went separate ways.
Josh who now goes by the name Moniker Manio has unveiled a new feel good pop song dubbed Ordinary Folk. A song he says speaks to him, his fans and the nation.
“It is a journey I am taking a step at a time because I am used to being in a group and I am really inviting people to take this journey with me. Fans out there, tell me what you think. I have a lot of songs recorded, nikiamua kudrop album leo na drop but nataka kushare the journey,” he added.

According to Josh, the decision to go separate ways came about because Amos wanted to focus on gospel music while he wanted to do the opposite.
”We are not split per say, its just that Amos wanted to do gospel and I wanted to do any music I felt like, so we gave each other that permission.” Josh said.
“We saw its good also to allow individual expression. Out of what we gather from our individual experiences we can come together and do something bigger. So it’s not really breaking, I do not think Amos and Josh will ever break, we have a whole album.” he added.
However the two said they will maintain their friendship despite of them not working together.
