After the deadly Dusit D2 terror attack, the Tourism Federation of Kenya has assured tourists that Kenya is safe to visit.

The federation’s chairman Mohamed Hersi said two main international airports in Nairobi and Mombasa are operating under normal schedules and no means of transport was interrupted after the attack.

“The standard gauge railway connection between Nairobi and Mombasa and all tourists circuits across Kenya are operating normally,” Mr Hersi said.

Mr Hersi assured industry players that they will be updated on any developments through the federation’s safety and security centre.

Mr Hersi also lauded security forces for their quick response to the incident.
