After the horrendous attack at the Dusit D2 hotel, many were more than curious to find out the identity of the evil monsters the terrifying deed.
Indeed investigations have provided some answers like the trail of a car to the home of the terrorist known as Farouk or Ali Salim Gichunge.
Further detectives have established that Kemunto had been living with Ali Salim for about a year, and was even referring herself as ‘Al Shabaab bride’ on her WhatsApp profile. The two – Kemunto and Ali Salim are said to be married.
What has shocked the nation most about this identities is the fact that unlike most terrorists who have somali profile, this ones are typical Kenyans with kenyan names suggesting it was not a religious act but simply a selfish move of Kenyans peying on Kenyans.
Ali Salim /Farouk GICHUNGE and Violet KEMUNTO????!!!!!
Sasa how will we manage if it is KENYANS killing ? Salala! Nilikua nangojea jina za Wasomali. Radicalization Alafu the back of his car kuna sticker ingine very sarcastic. He was very generous in tipping watu wa security.— Muthui Mkenya ?? (@MuthuiMkenya) January 17, 2019
Salim is thought to be the mastermind. He is suspected to have been leading the terror operation from outside providing the terrorists with information during the course of the attack.
Ali Salim and Kemunto have both been arrested and are aiding police with the investigation into the terror attack. At least nine other suspects have since been arrested in connection with the attack.
Change of tact? The terrorists previously fed & misled the nation and gv’t investigative agencies to profile our Somali brethrens on terrorism. Look now, they are using any tribe they want, Violet Kemunto Omwoyo & Ali Salim Gichunge is a clear case. Terrorism has no tribe, gender pic.twitter.com/ZlXzbW7uyr

The two criminals have shocked those who ever came in contact with them including friends and school colleagues.
I can’t believe that Violet Kemunto Omwoyo was a student in my own university of science and technology, The University of choice. So terrorists are within ourselves. It is time Kenyans to be more vigilant. #RiversideAttack #StopRadicalization pic.twitter.com/TUqhT3FVYc
