Residents of Kisumu County can finally breath a sigh of relief after their beloved governor was discharged from hospital on Thursday.
Governor Anyang Nyong’o , who has been in and out of hospital in recent times was discharged from the the Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi.
Senior county government officials who visited him said is in good health and he left the hospital in the morning. They said the governor is in better health and will resume his daily duties. “Actually he was to be discharged on Wednesday,” a staff said.
AU envoy Raila Odinga had visited him on Wednesday and revealed that the governor was in a stable condition.

Nyong’o was rushed to Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu on Saturday after falling ill during the installation of Archbishop Philip Anyolo at the Uzima University grounds.
