The Dusit attack like many life trials has revealed many sides of people and even created new heroes as well as taught Kenyans important appreciative lessons.

One patriot by the name Kyrgitt Kalya on facebook has penned an eye opening letter of the various personalities discovered during the Dusit attack and what morals they have taught Kenyans.

The letter read:”One observation. During the Westgate and Dusit attack there were some selfless women feeding the cops, media and paramedics with food, milk bread and tea and stayed the whole night as long as the vigil was kept.

When you see these women and some men, they look like they can barely make ends meet with the little they have, they share love to our gallant heroes.

Now now, Kempinsky, The Emory, Serena, Intercontinental, Four Points etc..all these five star establishments, KFC, Chicken Inn Mc Frys etc..these fast food joints that could wrap burgers and hot beverages and disburse faster and more hygienically, where do you ever come in?

You want to tell me your multi-million food corporations have zero CSR budgets? no compassion and empathy?

Corporate Oligarchy sickens me to the marrow.

Take time off to support small businesses. They are the true heart of Kenya.”

The woman behind the viral image that shows her feeding rescuers at the Riverside attack has revealed what inspired the noble act.

Grace Wambui stated that her desire to help stemmed from her rough experience during the 2007 post-election violence.

“I organised how to help and then called Kileleshwa Police Station boss who allowed me to serve tea and snacks to the officers. I got a renewed sense of purpose,” Grace added.

She started by buying food with her own money but with time, fellow worshippers, with the help of her parish priest, came on board.
