Opposition leader Raila Odinga has today visited Kisumu Governor Anyang Nyongo in Hospital.
Raila said that Anyang Nyongo is set to be discharged from hospital anytime soon as he is responding well to treatment.
The Governor fell ill on the 12th of January during the installation ceremony of catholic archbishop Philip Anyolo and was rushed to the hospital where he remained admitted.
Reports from the Governor’s office indicated that Nyong’o has been diagnosed with a sudden drop of blood pressure and his doctor had prescribed a brief bed rest as the pressure was stabilized.
On the 13th of January he was airlifted to Nairobi on what is believed to have been for special treatment.
