Manchester Midfielder closes in on exit

Fellaini has made just two substitute appearances in Solskajer’s six-game winning start to his United tenure, with the Belgium international out of favour under the caretaker boss.

Despite the midfielder signing a fresh two-year deal last summer, it is understood United are willing to let Fellaini leave this month – but only if the price is right.Image result for marouane fellaini

Under Solskjaer, Fellaini has completed just 31 minutes of first-team action and was not even in the 18-man squad that beat Tottenham 1-0 at Wembley on Sunday.

AC Milan, Porto and clubs from China and Turkey have shown interest but have still to make firm bids.

The powerful midfielder was frequently used by former manager Jose Mourinho when the Portuguese wanted to change the game.

But under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, United have deployed teams packed full of pace and dynamism perhaps lacking in the Belgian player.Image result for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

United have also revived talks over talented Norwegian prospect Isak Hansen-Aaroen.

The Old Trafford club sent scouts to see the 14-year-old midfielder from Tromso in October after he had trials with them plus Liverpool and Everton.Image result for Hansen-Aaroen

Hansen-Aaroen is a United fan and is also understood to be represented by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s agent Jim Solbakken.

Fresh discussions have taken place this week over a prospective pre-contract arrangement with United unable to sign him to a contract until he turns 16.

Meanwhile, Newport County have made an offer to take United defender Regan Poole, 20, on loan.

Manchester United will let Belgium midfielder Marouane Fellaini leave for £15m this month, with AC Milan, Porto and Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande all interested in the 31-year-old.
