Following the Riverside attack th more details have emerged linking the attack to a suicide bomber.
In a post by former media personality Janet Mbugua, she highlights that a source revealed the happenings of the incident.

“According to a friend of a family member who is at 14 Riverside, a bomber is said to have blown himself up at Secret Garden Restaurant, people have died.
More terrorists are said to have shown up in vehicles and are still on the ground.” reads her post on her Instagram page
Janet also shared that blood appeals are being made by Avenue Hospital in Parklands.
Kenyans have also been called upon to help out even in other hospitals in case of need.
The security and emergency agencies responded quickly to the news of the attack and the operations are still ongoing.
Some of those who escaped this incident have shared their tragic experiences as they united in prayer for others victims.
The police have said that they will try to make sure that the situation will be handled to bring back the normalcy of the nation.
The National Police specialised units are on site at 14 Riverside Drive to engage the attackers. They have also urged Kenyans to utilise their channel for all official information and refrain from re-tweeting unconfirmed news.
