Surely the end of a term of ones power can be terrifying if you think of the high regard of the position and all the might that comes with being in the seat which all of a sudden are to turning extinct.

According to Mutahi, the political rants from Kikuyu community leaders was a sign of panic over their fate in leadership after the 2022 elections given they have no strong candidate to take over from Uhuru.

“To the Kikuyus, 2022 elections is not an issue, to them 2022 marks the end of an empire, the GEMA (Gikuyu, Embu, Meru Association) empire which was started in 1963 and was rudely interrupted by former president Moi before it was continued by Kibaki and now Uhuru,” said Mutahi in his latest review of politics.

“The empire is coming to an end in 2022 and the earliest another Kikuyu can become president is 30 years later, 2052, and this is scary to the Kikuyu capitalists and nobility of the GEMA empire,” he added .

Those in the Central Kenya region will listen to President Uhuru Kenyatta and vote whatever direction he advises them whereas those in the Rift Valley region will defy Uhuru and vote for Ruto.

Mutahi notes Uhuru’s recent attacks on MPs Kimani Ngunjiri (Bahati) and Moses Kuria (Gatundu South), who are believed to be working closely with Ruto, was working in favour of the DP.

According to him the political romance between Uhuru and Raila Odinga may turn out to be a hoax as a smart strategy for the president to build Ruto through public sympathy votes by throwing him in the political cold as he entertains the Opposition leader.
