Radio Jambo presenter Massawe Jappani posted on her instagram page the video of K24 Betty Kyallo and Papa Jones dancing to his controversial song stick where she called out on Betty and Khaligraph Jones.
“How do I even back announce this song on-air???? Support Kenyan music activists leteni opinions na mawe.. @bettymuteikyallo what’s there to dance to? NON…NON…NONSENSE!!!” wrote Ms. Massawe.
Well the King of Hip Pop was not ready to be lashed out by a radio presenter as he went on to respond to Massawe calling her a hater for local music.
While commenting on her post, Khaligraph said he had known Massawe for long, and she has always been a hater of local music.
“uyu @massawejapanni akwende uko mbali, umekua hater kuanzia kitambo si ati sikujui bure kabisa wewe,” wrote Khaligraph
Papa Jones’ words come in the wake of a heated debate with artistes accusing radio and TV presenters of not promoting local content.
He started the conversation while in Nigeria when he attended the Sound City MVP Awards last week.
