Africa’s favorite music streaming service , Boomplay which has over 38 million users has released a list of top performing Kenyan artistes based on demand for musicians’ songs by fans.
Singer Nyashinski topped the list as the top Kenyan artiste with his hit songs ‘Malaika’ and ‘Bebi Bebi’ (Kenyan artiste with most streamed songs)
Nyashinski has been producing hit after hit, is one of the few Kenyan artists who have gained recognitions not only in Kenya but globally
Khaligraph’s ‘Testimony 1990’ Album claimed the number one spot for Top Albums of 2018 while Sauti Sol ft Nyashinski’s ‘Short and Sweet’, Willy Paul’s ‘Malingo’, Bahati’s ‘Ten over Ten’ and Khaligraph’s ‘Rider’ featuring Petra claimed the top four spots respectively as “Top Music Videos” in Kenya.
Bahati and Evelyn Wanjiru topped the list of Top 10 Gospel artistes of 2018.
