VIDEO: Daddy Owen throws shade over Davido’s fall song

Are you a fan of Davido? I guess we are all different and some might not be on the same page as yours…

Kenyan Artist Daddy Owen has thrown shade over Davido’s hit song  and said that part of the lyrics do not make sense.

The Kenyan contemporary Christian music artist  has been in the music industry for over 15 years now and whatever he says is indeed a strong opinion.

His remarks in regard to this songs comes in line to the current debate n the state of Kenyan music industry.

Kenyans have however reacted saying that throwing shade will not really boost our industry. If people start taking sides, Kenyans fear that this will make the foreign Industry  continue to beat us.

Daddy Owen says that people have been claiming that Kenyan music has no content but on his end, he disagrees saying that he has heard songs which according to him do not make sense.

The Singer also says that in Davido’s fall song, when he says Banana follow you  he fails to understand how this even makes sense.

Although his remarks clearly do not match what  a large percentage feel about the song having that it is one of the  songs that got a large number of viewership on You Tube.

Nigerian Singer Davido has given other artists a mileage after his song ‘fall’ hit song managed to get close to 100 million views on YouTube.

The song’s music video is now the most watched Nigerian music video on YouTube and over the year has hit the international waves.

The music video has close to 100 million views, beating  Yemi Alade’s massive 2014 hit “Johnny,” which previously held the title.

Music is all about the standards and indeed the Nigerian star has set close to unbeatable records.

However for this particular song, Daddy Owen  thinks otherwise…
