Kenya Female Artist Victoria Kimani has today called out the Jalangos as she joined in media vs music industry debate.
For her it was not based on complaints but she urged Kenyans to support their music in all sorts of ways.
This request is in a bid to counter the ignorant Jalangos that are deaf and dumb to Kenyan talent.
The award winning artist says that she saw this gap 5 years ago and even though she started the conversation no one seemed to notice.
She is however glad that finally it is happening and artists have woken up to the realization that more needs to be done inorder to boost the industry.
Victoria mentions that now that a man has talked people have their ears open.
She however hints that the major concern is that Kenyans should religiously hype their own content.
Kimani has done the unexpected after she took the initiative to create a playlist of her top 50 favorite tracks with the help of Dj Poison Ivy.
