David Murathe argues that President and his deputy are a pair, thus should all retire at the end of their two terms as per the Constitution.

He had earlier on indicated that he would move to the supreme Court to bar Ruto from vying, citing it as one of the reasons behind his resignation.
He argues that DP Ruto is followed with many corruption allegations, which makes him not suitable for 2022.
