A High profile KPL Match between Mathare United and Gor Mahia ended in a 1-1 draw at the Kasarani Stadium as Kenya’s Legendary Striker Dennis Oliech marked his return to the football world by making a debut for the defending Champions.
Dennis Oliech, arguably Kenya’s greatest footballer made his long awaited debut for Gor Mahia, coming on for the final 15 minutes of the game.
Oliech, making his debut for the defending league champions after penning a two year deal earlier in the week, came on for Nicholas Kipkirui as both sides settled for a share of the spoils.
Jacques Tuyisenge gave Gor the lead in the 34th minute via a penalty before Mathare replicated the same with a spot kick of their own in the second half that was converted by Kevin Kimani.
