On Monday, Milimani Court Resident Magistrate, Isaac Orenge, ordered that Senator Mithika Linturi’s estranged wife Maryanne Keitany, be given access back to her home.
Delivering the ruling, Orenge directed the Runda Officer Commanding Station (OCS) to enforce the orders allowing Kitanny back into the house.
The OCS was also asked to ensure that her family enjoyed peace pending further court directions.
According to reports, Kitanny was allegedly evicted from the house after a different court dismissed a suit she filed seeking court protection from an eviction after her advocate failed to attend court on time.
It is reported that the Meru senator and Kitanny, a former Chief of Staff at Deputy President William Ruto’s office, have been embroiled in a feud that saw the Linturi barred from accessing the home by a court in November.
Keitany filed the case after her husband, a licensed gun holder reportedly threatened to shoot her during a domestic brawl in the same home.
However, on December 19 last year, Linturi allegedly hired over 15 goons in a bid to forcefully eject Keitany from their matrimonial home in Runda.
Moreso, reports further claim that the situation escalated when the senator allegedly threatened to kill Keitany after she put him on the spot over the death of their house help Edith Kananu, in October.
Later on, Keitanny moved to the high court seeking Ksh10 million she allegedly lost during the scuffle that led to her eviction.
