Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru is among the jubilee leaders who are celebrating the Murathe resignation.
While taking to her social media account Waiguru said, “Reckless utterances can often lead to unnecessary divisions and chaos. While freedom of expression is a protected right, incivility has no place in present-day Kenya or within the Ruling Jubilee Party. We welcome the timely resignation of #MuratheResigns, as a matter of course!”

Well seems like it was a wrong move for the former CS as the online users reminded her about her NYS scandal which saw her leave the office of the Cabinet Secretary for devolution.

When your position as CS was nolonger tenable you opted to rather die with light duties than resign…the man just resigned! You should be taking lessons, not yapping.

No division but the truth should be said. What about the NYS issue while you were CS Devolution?

Freedom of expression is enshrined in Article 33 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kenya. Shouldn’t we also introduce right to corruption in our Constitution to legally protect thieves and looters of NYS?
