Former Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale has jumped in to rescue unemployed youth after he responded to a young man calling out for help.
The man, by the name Christopher took to twitter to share with Khalwale that he is depressed as a result of unemployment.
Christopher says that he graduated with a degree in Agriculture 5 years ago and he had not got a job up to date.
“if you people can give me a job now,,I will follow you all the say…am even depressed…0705014694” he added.
Khalwale then replied to this post as he gave his number to the man so that he may contact him.
A move that was equally praised and criticized by Kenyans online. Some have shown their disapproval saying that Khalwale is just seeking publicrecognition for the fact that he did not opt to call the man who had even shared his number.
Even so, some have said how luck Christopher is to even afford bundles even though he is unemployed.
More Kenyans also jumped in to share their challenges in getting jobs, asking the politician to help them get jobs.
Unemployment continues to bite and this is one of the major problems that is facing Kenyans. The reality is that unemployment is not something that can be solved by one man.
What do you think the government should do to curb unemployment?
