In 2017 Citizen TV Willis Raburu suprised many after she wedded Mary Ngami instead of Sally Mbilu who everyone knew about.

It was a shocker as we all thought Willis was very much engaged to Sally but two years after their much hyped engagement Sally and Willis broke up in unclear circumstances.

In an interview with  Kalekye Mumo on her K24 Talk Central show,  the ten over ten host revealed that he had met his current wife Mary  way before while he was still dating Sally  he did not take any interest as he was still in another relationship at that time.

“We met in church, at Jubilee Christian Church through my friend Pablo. He introduced me and when I saw her, l was like ‘Good Lord Hallelujah!’ But even though I noticed her fine-ness, I didn’t do anything as I was still in a relationship. About a year passed by after we met,” Willis revealed.

As soon as the relationship was over with Sally, he started pursuing Mary but it was not all good as he was not sure whether Mary like the real Willis or Willis the celebrity. He even went ahead and cancelled four dates.

“After my break up, I reached out to her (Mary). I was very sceptical, nilimtesa sana. She would reach out to me and I just didn’t reply. This was because I wanted to know whether she loved Willis wa TV or just Willis. I cancelled like 4 times,” he confessed

Soon after he got to know Mary was the real deal after he broke his leg and some friends took flight. “We started getting to know each other, I broke my knee and she started coming over. During that time she would give me things instead of asking for things which is what I was used to.”

With her pure heart and her ability to call out Willis on his B.S, she won him over fully and the two tied the knot in 2017 surrounded by colleagues, family and friends.
