Evidence that sold suspects of Kenneth Kamto’s murder

What goes around comes around. The heartless criminals that traumatised a family during a robbery raid in their home are now counting their loses after their tracks were covered by police.

Three people were on Friday arrested in connection with the murder of former Kilifi County Deputy Governor Kenneth Kamto.

According to Coast region Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) boss Jospeh Ng’ang’a, the suspects were nabbed in Kisumu Ndogo area in Nyali, Mombasa County.

Mr. Ng’ang’a added that a mobile phone suspected to have been stolen from the househelp during Kamto’s murder was also recovered during the arrests.

The three suspects were presented before a Shanzu court where Magistrate Diana Mochache directed that they be held in custody until next week Friday pending investigation by the police.

Kamto was shot dead in front of his family by unknown assailants in the wake of Wednesday December 12, 2018 morning at his residence in Nyali, Mombasa County.

Kamto who served as ODM Kilifi branch chairman before ditching the party for Jubilee was Gideon Mung’aro’s running mate in the 2017 General elections.

They however lost to incumbent Kilifi governor Amason Kingi.
