Kenyan Gospel Artist Emmy Kosgei who is currently based in Nigeria has opened up about how her travel has affected her music career.
The singer said that she was worried that it would affect her music negatively but she is glad that it did not.
She stated that it had only helped her positively since it has given her a wider audience and it has also allowed her to travel in different countries for her music.
Being in Nigeria has also helped her improve her talent and generally her career.
The wide range of audience has given her the challenge to do better and she has said that her uniqueness is what attracts many people to her music.
Emmy Kosgei also shared her general experience in Nigeria saying that she is doing good Nigerians welcomed her so well.
During an interview on one of Kenya’s local radio station, the gospel artist said that even though the Nigerians do not understand the language in her songs, they are wowed by her talent and the rythm of her music.
Emmy Kosgei left the country after she wedded with a Nigerian Gospel Minister back in 2013.
Over the years, the gospel artist has since released other songs adding on to her famously known songs in the country.
She continues to thrive in the industry and she seemingly takes up the new space she is in to grow her music.
