Pangani Girls have done it again!

Pangani girls seems to be making headlines for all the right reasons. Last year, when the then Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i released the results of the 2017 Kenya Certificate of Secondary School at Nairobi School, Naomi Karimi Kawira from Pangani Girls emerged the 2017 KCSE top candidate with a mean score of 87.011 points.

This year, the all girls school has done it again and for the second time in two consecutive years, the school has produced another overall best candidate in the 2018 national examinations.

When she released the 2018 KCSE examination results today at the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) Headquarters, Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Education, Amb. Amina Mohamed announced Juliet Otieno of Pangani Girls as the top performer in this year’s national exam.

The CS said that Juliet had emerged the best after garnering 87.644 points.

Releasing the results at the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) Headquarters, Education CS Amina Mohamed said girls performed better in English, Kiswahili, CRE, Home Science, Art and Design and Metal Works. A total of 90,377 candidates scored grades C+ and above an indication of a similar number qualifying for direct admission to the university.

100 candidates have had their results cancelled with results from some centers withheld by KNEC.
