The final FIFA rankings of 2018 have been revealed, with World Cup winners France finishing the year in second place, while the highest-ranked African nation sits in 23rd position.France ended 2018 behind leaders Belgium, who top the world champions by the finest of margins with just one point.

Senegal remained the highest-ranked African nation in 23rd position, while Bafana Bafana stayed in 72nd spot.
