PHOTOS: Uthiru residents in fear as theft cases on the rise

Theft cases have  been reported to be on the rise in Uthiri areas as residents lament on recent incidents.

A man online has revealed the pain of having to wake up and see that his car side mirror and those of the neighbours stolen and the vehicle windows broken,

Double loss, double pain  and clearly shows the state of insecurity in the area.

“what can you do if you wake up one morning and found thugs vandalised your car like this. This happened to me today and my two neighbours in uthiru.More so I had packed the car at 3am today…Uthiru” reads his post as he shared what had happened.

This has raised concern as it seemingly sounds like a planned incident by professional thugs.

During this festive season, some are known for taking advantage of the fact that people travel to their rural homes. Thieves are also said to be on the look out and are mostly reported to break into other people’s houses.

Kenyans have reacted to this huge damage done and say they feel the mans pain.

This is the season that requires people to keep safe and also police need to be  out on patrol to keep such areas with high theft cases in check.
