According to reports, Michael Carrick will be announced as the interim boss as the club tries to look for an experienced coach.
However, the Red Devils will face a mammoth pay-out for terminating Mourinho’s contract, who had extended his stay at the club until 2020.
According to Daily Record, United will pay an amount in the region of £24m having terminated his contract.
