If you recall very clearly Jimmy Wanjigi was among the people who were targetted in the governments clean up late last year to early this year. In the gun drama that led to his arrest Raila was forced to spend a night in his House in Muthaiga just to ensure that his security was granted.
Jimmy Wanjigi was considered among the top threat to Jubilee’s smooth transition into office after the aftermath of the elections that split the nation into tribal lines.
But Raila stood firm by him and this has made their friendship to be inseparable.
In President Uhuru Kenyatta’s two visit and specially the breakfast Meeting in Opoda Farm in Bondo with the Odinga’s Jimmy Wanjigi has joined the team.
Jimmy Wanjigi has landed with lots of gifts to Idda Odinga. His presence proves that he will be part of the meeting at the Bondo.
The details of the meeting have not been publicized and most people are anxious to see what will unfold.
President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to visit the grave of the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga to seek to blessings. The first time the president visited the grave was when he was the MP of Gatundu.
The President and Raila are also expected to be honored by Honorary Degree from the University of Bondo for their handshake which brought peace back to the country and has been core in uniting of Kenyans.
