Kenya was threatening to split in the middle a day like now in 2017. There had been talks that NASA would swear in Raila Odinga as the President on Jamhuri Day. Even though that didn’t happen. Nobody envisioned what we are witnessing now between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his brother Raila Odinga.
It started with a handshake ?, then a hug…and now a salute! President Kenyatta warmly embraces Raila Odinga at the #JamhuriDay celebrations. #KenyaAt55 pic.twitter.com/IT9tKKZudo

Since the famous March 9, handshake the two have been working together for the ‘good’ of the country. Even though not many people are enjoying their relationship.
On 9th March this year, there was the handshake which is famously referred to as the handcheque. Raila was recently appointed the African Union High Commissioner for Infrastructure Development thanks to a lot of lobbying from the President.
But on Wednesday, during the Jamhuri Day Celebrations, President Uhuru surprised many when he saluted Raila. Most hawk eyed Kenyans saw that he did not accord the same to his Deputy President William Ruto.
It started with a hand cheque. Which led to Kenyans suffering. Fat ? cats continue looting. #KenyaAt55

I believe that the fact that we are now not fighting but feeling the heat and raising issues together is progress. Let’s not be all that skeptical about everything. One step at a time.

The handshake was for the two, what can you see that we can smile a bout ? absolutely nothing , let me cross my heart and watch from a distance,

If that would bring justice easily to the whole of Kenya it would have been an easy to accept gesture..
