Jambazi Sugu!!Gang captured on CCTV robbing at Nairobi Mall

Daring daylight theft, criminals are no longer afraid being seen robbing innocent citizen on a broad day or being captured on CCTV cameras.

Over th weekend, a  Kiambu tycoon businessman was  robbed over Ksh500,000 and other valuables in a daring daylight raid at Thika Road Mall (TRM), Nairobi.

According to Kenyans.co.ke,the tycoon identified as Eric Ndichu popularly known as Ka-Viriginia  lost his cash minutes after withdrawing it from the bank.

“On Saturday, l went to TRM’s rooftop parking and headed to KCB bank around 1:30 p.m where I withdrew Ksh565 000 before the early closing hours of banks on Saturday,” he narrated.

Ndichu later went back to his car, a Range Rover KBT 577G where he put the money underneath the drivers seat, locked the car and went back to the mall.

Going back to his car, Ndichu was surprised to find the front left window smashed with blood stains all over the seats.

“Opening the door, I found all the money, phones, laptops and other valuables stolen,” he stated.

According to Ndichu, CCTV footage seen by DCI officers investigating the incident captured four men and a woman trailing him from the time he left his car  at the parking lot, to the bank and back to his car.

Shortly after he went back to the mall, one of the five robbers smashed the car windows and in the process got injured by the glass leading to serious bleeding.

A second guy then got inside the car through the window sustaining deep cuts from the shattered glass.

He was then captured emerging with an envelope containing the cash before getting away alongside his accomplices in a white Nissan Tilda Reg no. KCM 631X.

Ka-Virginia expressed his intention to sue the mall due to laxity in ensuring their customer’s security and the fact that there was no disclaimer that parking was at owners risk.

The businessman who has interests in mining and construction industry is reportedly eyeing the Githuguri Parliamentary seat in 2022 General Elections.
