He has taken to his social media Facebook account now seeking President Uhuru’s attention on Facebook, In his post he wrote,  “My President, I have tried all means to meet you in vain. Allow me to use this channel to request for an appointment”.

His plea attracted  a number of reactions, with some Kenyans speculating on who could be frustrating his efforts to meet the president, while some quarters thought his past political choices are to blame for his woes, including his endorsement of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga during the 2013 presidential elections, when he declared that Raila was the best candidate to take over from Mwai Kibaki, even though Uhuru and Ruto were gunning for the presidency.

Sang, who hails from Trans Nzoia County, had expressed his  interest in running for a political seat a a senator but shelved his ambitions to concentrate on the court case and later unsuccessfully tried to run for the Trans Nzoia governor’s seat in 2017 on a Jubilee ticket, but was knocked out during the party’s nominations.
