‘Man Utd only have the FA Cup to play for’

Robbie Savage doesn’t think Manchester United have much to play for this season after watching them draw 2-2 at home to Arsenal. Do you agree with him?

The result leaves the Red Devils eight points behind fourth-placed Chelsea, while they are an incredible 18 points off leaders Manchester City.

And Savage, who has already hit out at United once this season, didn’t seen any signs on Wednesday night at Old Trafford to convince him that they could make the top four.

“We say Manchester United were held 2-2 at home, but really it was Arsenal that were held 2-2, they were the better side especially second half,” Savage said.

“Aubameyang had a big, big chance to score and a good save from David De Gea.

“They had a goal ruled out, I didn’t see United play any football in the middle.

“Where was the creativity, the energy?

“Kolasinac was a threat going forward and he left Dalot exposed.

“Overall Arsenal were the better side, they could have won.”

Savage added: “The point puts United further away from the Champions League places.

“I don’t think they’ll get a Champions League spot and they won’t win it (this season).Image result for fa cup

“What is left for United this season other than the FA Cup?”
