‘Made A Way’ Hit Maker, Travis Greene finally in Kenya

Just in case you thought it was all a big joke, here’s all the proof that you need!

It’s official! American Gospel singer and Pastor, Travis Greene has finally touched down on Kenyan soil for what could be Kenya’s biggest worship experience of the year.

Through their official Instagram account, Praise Fest announced the arrival of the ‘Made A Way’ and ‘Intentional’ hitmaker in a video that showed the Worship singer seemingly excited to be in the country dancing along to the famous Bazokizo.

 

 

Travis Greene, who was pronounced dead twice as a child has had an undeniably short but impactful career. Travis is humbled to have been nominated for 13 Stellar Gospel Music Awards, 3 Dove Awards, 2 Recording Academy Grammy Awards,  2 Billboard Music Awards and 1 Soul Train Award.

In 2016 Travis was named by Billboard Magazine as the 2016 Gospel Airplay Artist of The Year.

In 2017, Travis Greene released his album, ‘The Hill’ which saw him bag seven awards at the 2017 Stellar Awards: Song of The Year (Made A Way), Male Vocalist of The Year, CD of The Year (The Hill), Contemporary Male Vocalist of The Year, Contemporary CD of The Year (The Hill), Recorded Music Packaging of The Year (Annie Stoll, The Hill) and Praise & Worship CD of The Year (The Hill).

Travis Greene has three albums under his belt: ‘Stretching Out’ which her released in 2010, ‘The Hill’ which is considered the record that gave him a breakthrough in his music career and the most recent ‘Crossover: Live From Music City’ a live album released in 2017.

As a Campus Worship Leader at Georgia Southern University and now, a household Gospel name and Pastor, Travis has spent the last decade ministering to those who do not know God for themselves.

“I have been raised to be the voice that goes into the dark and desolate places to expose the life of Christ,” he said.

The celebrated Gospel singer and Stellar Awards Winner will today perform live in Nairobi for the very first time at the fourth edition of Praise Fest. The concert is set to go down from 6 pm at CITAM Karen.

Praise Fest is a Christian music festival hosted in Nairobi, Kenya, that brings people from all denominations and walks of life together to worship and enjoy the presence of God in unity as the body of Christ.

The event aims to offer a response of celebration to God’s greatness, being led to a place of repentance and growth in spiritual maturity through songs of worship and associated acts.

So Nairobi are you ready? You can still get your tickets before they run out. Advance tickets are selling at Ksh. 2000 while Gate tickets will be sold for Ksh. 3000.
