For many years the opposition in Kenya has been vibrant led by the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. Raila Odinga produced a master opposition techniques that produced results. Other than exposing corruption and various undoings it kept the government on toes.
But the opposition in those days was characterized by loud picketing, demonstrations that even turned chaotic. The impact of all that is death and increased hostilities among different communities in Kenya.
The handshake and appointment of both Raila and Kalonzo on high posts in Africa it means that they are gagged and can’t speak alternatively on the irresponsible governance.
But this has offered an opportunity for the rise of ANC Leader Musalia Mudavadi to redefine the opposition politics in the country. The self-proclaimed opposition leader has said boldly and candidly that he won’t accept any post if given by the government, President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Musalia Mudavadi who claims is not gagged by the collective responsibility of the government is ready to amplify the voice of Kenyans.
In changing the landscape of opposition politics Musalia said it is time the country shift from opposition politics that is more often violent to a more reasonable way of handling matters of public interests.
“It is time to redefine opposition politics in Kenya.This is not the time for picketing and violence;businesses are collapsing,it is time to have issue based discourse.” Said Mudavadi on The Sidebar on NTV with Ken Mijungu.

Speaking on the same Musalia questioned the issue of church funding’s led by the tangatanga team and the Deputy President. Musalia has questioned the source of their money that they are always dishing out.

Mudavadi also shade a light on the 2/3 gender debate saying that the MPs should pass it and forget about it to focus on other important issues.
