PSG ready to make De Gea

David de Gea will join Paris Saint-Germain and become the world’s highest-paid goalkeeper, according to reports.

De Gea’s contract at Manchester United runs out at the end of the season but the club can extend it for a further year – an option they are certain take.

United are trying to tie him down beyond that and have offered him a new deal but talks have come to a standstill.

And The Daily Mail claim he will now leave for free after the 2019-20 campaign and sign a bumper £60million deal with Ligue 1 giants PSG.

PSG are already the subject of an investigation by UEFA, who are trying to work out if they have breached financial fair play (FFP) regulations.

They paid Monaco £162m to sign Kylian Mbappe permanently in the summer just one year after breaking the transfer world record by buying Neymar from Barcelona for £200m.

And the report claims they could now look to sell Neymar to free up cash to fund De Gea’s bumper deal.

Should leave?
