Statehouse official Dennis Itumbi in mourning

A fews after mourning the life of his friend Fred Owich, the Director of Digital, Innovations and Diaspora Communications in the office of the President Dennis Itumbi is in mourning again.

Itumbi is mourning the sudden death of his friend and journalist Casper Waithaka who died in an accident.

While taking his condolence message to his social media instagram page Itumbi wrote, “Casper Waithaka, Go well bro. Go well. Life is damn short. Casper Answered Prayer Waithaka – I wish there was a way to stop the accident. I cannot even pen my tribute now. Later bro. God strengthen your family. “The Lowest ebb is the turn of the tide.” -Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.”

He died after his car veered off the road at the Athi River-Namanga interchange as he tried to avoid hitting a boda boda rider.

Mr. Waithaka was the Communication officer at  East African Portland Cement before the he was working for the Nation Media Group (NMG).

His death comes a few weeks after Itumbi lost another fred through a road accident Fred Owich who was working for  Migori Woman Representative Pamela Odhiambo.

Well this was quite similar to the death of Mr.Waithaka, Owich, was  reported to have lost control as well of the vehicle while he tried to avoid hitting a boda-boda.

The aide died on the spot while the Woman Representative sustained chest injuries and was rushed to a Kisumu hospital and later flown to Nairobi for further treatment.

The two accidents are happening at a time when CS Fred Matiang’i has decided to crackdown all transport vehicles on a mission to bring back sanity to our Roads.

This is through the implementing the famous Michuki Rules.
