John Ng’ethe Mwaura is back.
If there is something any Nairobian fears all year round , is a conman. My friend , this are sharp and patient goons with degrees and phds but also street wise and once they deal with you , you will know 1+1 does not equal to 2.
Through their official Twitter page, the police have alerted the general public that fraudsters are on the prowl after they were spotted using a new trick.

Mwaura who also identifies himself as an overseer of the Christ Love International Ministry is a con who together with his accomplices robs unsuspecting members of the public in the pretex of selling them coupons with redeemable prizes.
The racketeers were sighted in town along Moi Avenue preying on unsuspecting Kenyans. Before his arrest earlier this year, the team was using a motor vehicle reg no KBY 546M but information reaching the police indicates that they are using a different one this time round.
The car in use this time is a Station Wagon reg. no KBL 247X where victims are lured to by con agents to buy tickets and redeem prizes that are non existent. The police have cautioned all to remain vigilant and inform them incase they are sighted anywhere.
However ,following a tip of from a member of the public,police officers managed to arrest Mwaura’s accomplice one, Peter Gitau Kibe with whom they run the racket together. He was expected to be arraigned in court on thursday.
